I STARTED READING TWILIGHT.
.......HAHA. Yes, I've been resisting for ages. (and for good reason too)
Umm, I don't know how to say this, but...
I... don't really love it so far. But that might be partially because I'm already so frickin biased. It's not umm, completely horrible. But I really just can't take it seriously xD
Some random notes so far:

* Charlie/Dad. I randomly thought of Charlie from Lost. Which I don't even watch. But I just thought of Dominic Monaghan <3 WOW, random much?! xDDD

* ....Bella going on for like paragraphs and paragraphs on her ' pale skin' and all... ? Ah yes, that's quite horrible and makes you terribly unattractive. You'd much have red, splotchy skin and acne of course! Right. And then *goes to school* Oh hey, other people have pale skin too; cool, I'll blend in. Err, yay for you? :/

* LOL WTF @ Edward going from like GRR DEATHGLARE-CLENCHEDFISTS-BLACKEYES...to... OH HAI THAR I'M EDWARD CULLEN NICE TUH MEET YOO & OH HEY GOLDEN EYES NOW. Hahahaha. Obviously, now that I'm like way past there... somewhere close to the middle now.... I understand the reason for all that, but still.

* I can't... I dunno. I can't see Edward as a character. He just.... doesn't fit together for me. And Bella a bit too (but mostly Edward at the moment) Somehow. I have no idea why. I'll try to explain it more later? :/

* Oh and randomly, I'm trying to picture Cedric---err Robert Pattinson in the role... Can't see it. BUT, that's only because I can barely even see him as a character... I mean. I can picture an image of him in my mind (Robert is alright in that sense, I guess)... But I can't see him talking and etc... 0.o It's weeiirrdd.

* And how his voice is always supposedly 'seductive' and 'musical'... Okaayyyy. Lovely. I get it. And how he 'dazzles' everyone. OKAY.... Please no more. I GET IT.

* Umm, Mike and Eric... Poor sods. Get over Bella. And LOL @ Tyler, uhhh, nice. Almost run her over by accident. And then tell everyone she's going to prom with you. Way to go. She's really not worth your time, man.

* I like Jacob though. But uhh how she keeps describing their voices. Edward = Musical and etc. Jacob = Husky. LOLLLL. Okayyyy. Oh and I actually wasn't originally aware (from the exposure that I've had to the fandom on LJ) that Jacob is younger than her and also Native American. Interesting. And well, a werewolf too, I guess. Though that comes later in New Moon, yeah?

* I'm going to be honest. I'm not fond of the Bella/Edward relationship. Umm.... I can 'sense the UST', I guess. But.... umm. I find it kind of lame Sorry?

* Err... dunno what else to say. Just that. At times, while reading it.... It feels almost surreal for some reason. I can see all the imagery in my head... Like I can picture random scenes... Charlie's house, the school, the beach, etc. etc..... And yet, I can't see the characters very clearly. [Unlike in Harry Potter, where they're just so clear to me xD] I dunno why this is yet. But I guess I'll see? As I read further? I just can't seem to take her writing seriously. And I feel no connection with the characters... They barely even seem there at all at times... I dunno :/ I sort of skipped/skimmed ahead a bit..... More UST. Okay then... Uh, ha, NO.

* I dunno what it is about the book... I just haven't really gotten it yet. Maybe it won't come till New Moon? I don't know. I think I sort of started out knowing that I probably wouldn't like it, ehh.

* All I know is that Harry Potter fandom shall always have my heart. Completely ♥
* ....LOL, LOSER! xDDD Ah well... Haha, random.


Oh and also. Kimmie and I... Well, we've always sort of slightly scoffed at Twilight fandom/obsession X_X *gets stabbed by pencil welding fans*... (I'm already kind of trying to tone down my commentary, haha)
But now that my other friend has forced us to read it.... Kimmie and I are sort of reading it together side by side. Erika lent me her copy and Yun lent Kimmie her copy. Sooo, now, we're both like... LOL GAG PAGE ##. WTF line ##. And yeah. Kimmie says: I'm only reading it so that I can properly assess how bad it is. Me: LOL OK THEN. Maybe that's why I'm getting this reaction. I guess I'm kind of going in with that mindset too? :/ And yes, I know there's that whole... "Well if you hate it so much then DUN BOTHER READIN IT BITCH! >:[ " ... thing. Yeah, I know that's how some people feel. But I don't hate-hate it. I'm just reading it out of curiosity and attempting to wring out my honest opinion of it. Yeah ok.... So I'm kinda close to gagging at some points. But yeah. Sorry to any fans? I'm just trying to make note of my feelings on the book, haha.

Randomly. I hope that kid who plays Jacob can grow taller. Like.... A LOT taller. 6"7 by the next movie??? 0.o

Kind of like when I watched Eragon (no, I didn't read the book) with a guy friend of mine. It was just so much LOLZ. I could just sense all the 11 year old girls getting excited and squeeing over the completely pointless shirtless scene. Gaagggg me. The movie felt like a Harry Potter/LotR wannabe!
Again, I haven't read the book.... So perhaps I shouldn't judge? But eh, the movie failed for me.
